Volunteer to Manage a Small-Scale Community Impact Project
Epic is an Apparo program that brings together local project managers and consultants we call Change Agents to manage small-scale Community Impact Projects.
You will set the meeting schedule, be the sounding board for the nonprofit and corporate volunteers, and report updates and outcomes to the Apparo team.
Project management is one of your greatest skills- let’s use your powers for good.
Become an Epic Change Agent
A prospective change agent completes an Epic application.
If selected, prospective Change Agent is interviewed by Apparo staff.
Apparo trains Epic Change Agent on the Community Impact Project (CIP) process.
The Community Impact Project Steps
The Epic Change Agent steps in for Apparo during Step 3 of the Community Impact Project (CIP) to manage the project for Apparo.
Apparo meets with a nonprofit to understand their needs and fit for a CIP.
Apparo finds volunteer(s) with the right expertise.
Apparo introduces the nonprofit to the corporate volunteer to confirm fit.
Corporate volunteer begins project work. Apparo facilitates to ensure a sustainable solution. Typical timeframe: 12-16 weeks.
Project concludes, and Apparo follows up regularly to ensure solution is maintained.
