Crisis Assistance Ministry has been an Apparo partner since 2014, taking advantage of a wide breadth of our services.
Website for Good Award
As Apparo’s 2016 Website for Good Award winner, Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation had an outdated website with few capabilities, academic language that didn’t appeal to constituents, and lacked social media integration.
Their new site is allowing them to better inform the community on the impacts of poverty thanks to improved storytelling capabilities and more.
Apparo today announced the 2018 Website for Good Award winner is Crisis Assistance Ministry. Digital marketing firm Rabell Creative will redesign and update the independent nonprofit agency’s website through pro bono volunteer hours valued at $20,000.00.
InReach, a leader in providing housing, jobs and community support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Charlotte/Mecklenburg and surrounding counties, needed to improve their website user experience for constituents. However, website updates can be enormously expensive and tedious.
Children’s Attention Home was ready for a website refresh. As a winner of Apparo’s Website for Good Award, they were excited to attain a flexible theme that would allow for creative content features, online event registration, photo/video galleries and SEO optimization.
“The new website has changed our organization. Before the new site, we thought about our website constantly as a function of what we do day-to-day. Now we are able to manage the site easily on our own, and focus on our programmatic work.”
